tripHotel is in great location on the strip. Rooms and comfortable and clean. Stayed three nights. The third night maid forgot to replace the towels we wanted changed. We got back to the hotel too late and too tired to wait for someone to bring some replacements. That was the only problem we had.Rating:3
not impressednice for its age.Rating:2
Not impressedI really dont like the Hotel. Looks like a motel. The tube didnt work properly. The bath look old an nasty.Rating:3
For the budget mindedThis hotel is for the person that is probably on a budget or just doesnt mind the "place to sleep". My room was in the very front tower, facing strip. Had a balcony and was right in front of the Carnival Court with the loud music. The music was a bother at times but also fun while hanging out on balcony. The room was very basic but clean. The best thing about this place is location location location!
Travelers tip on nightlifeRight outside that hotel is so many clubs/bars to go to, short walk! RockHouse, Carnival Court, Piano Bar, Tobys I Love This Bar.Rating:1
Will not return to this hotel....We arrived on a Thursday night and waited in line for 2 hours to check in. The room was very run down, the carpets were stained, the ceiling was black, the bathtub did not drain and the bed was all springs. AND the elevators were soooo incredibly slow it was extremely irritating. I feel like they should have paid me to stay there. I would not recommend this hotel to an enemy.Rating:4
GoodEverything was great for the price we paid. The only downfall is the wait time for elevators.Rating:4
Great locationThe hotel is right in the middle of the strip, so the location was perfect. It is not at all fancy, but we didnt spend a lot of time in our room. Be sure to ask for a room that does not face the street with the all-night music. You wont believe how loud that is, and it is almost impossible to sleep through the constant noise. The staff cheerfully switched our room the second night. That was a huge downside to our stay, but the staff is used to the request to switch rooms. We would stay there again for the value and location. I wouldnt say this is as family friendly as other hotels in the area. The rooms are small and the neighborhood has a party atmosphere. Great location for people who dont spend a lot of time in their room.Rating:4
Basic but its in the middle of the stripI stayed at the basic Imperial Palace while attending a conference at the much fancier Venetian. I just needed an inexpensive place to stay while spending most of the day at the Venetian and Imperial Palace did the trick. Its very centrally located on the strip, and I had no significant issues with the room, the hotel or anything else. Yes, the elevators up and down can be slow at times, yes the rooms could be fancier, yes, the hotel overall seems a little run-down compared to say, the Venetian, and yes, the wireless internet available costs extra, but all in all it was a good value, especially if you spend most of your time out and about, not in the hotel, and just need a place to sleep.Rating:4
Center of the Strip, perfect for low budget + good qualityIt was our 3rd visit in LV and we choosed the IP for the 2nd time. Dont expect anything fancy, the hotel is a 3-star hotel, not more not less. But there are a couple of reason why we always want to stay @the imperial: -center of the strip -prices are reasonable -pool (lot of students) -casino has a nice and old atmosphere
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksright in on las vegas blvd & center of the strip, rock bar is integrated in the hotel complex, try to get a room with balconie and view to the poolRating:1
Terrible stay away!Dirty and in a terrible alley. Actually dangerous to walk around .More like a motel 8!!!!!!Rating:5
Perfect LocationI thought the location of Imperial Palace was perfect. It is walking distance to Caezars Palace, Belagios, and the Forum Mall. The restaurant at Imperial Palace was under renovation, but the diner at Harrahs (next door) worked very well. Imperial Palace is small and charming. The car museum is wonerful!!
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayWatch the dealer-tainers for no-cost entertainment!!Rating:3
Average hotel stayHad a great time. Clean room. No problems
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksnot too far from ceasars palace.Rating:1
I will never stay with this hotel againThe problem was the room that was located behind the casino and the 6 elevators for 18 floors. When taking a shower the tub almost over flowed as did the sink when brushing your teeth. Tiles were broken on the shower wall. As for the elevators, if you were on one of the top 18 floors you were ok but if you were on a lower floor forget it. We had to use the stairs when going down, but you cant use them going up because the doors are locked on all floors except for the pool and lobby. On the morning that we left we almost missed our ride to the airport because all 5 elevators that stopped on our floor were full. We had to carry our bags down the stairs. Thank god we were on the third floor. I couldnt file a complaint because only one person was there to listen and they had a long line of people wanting to complain.Rating:5
I can stay there again.; well worth the value. The room was good and big enough for 2 people. Its just a little behind the strip[ but the sstreet is easily accessible. Good place to stay for people on a budget.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayCheck out all the free shows in Vegas before you go. Youll have fun even if you dont gamble because theres a lot to see and they can even be free.Rating:5
amazing view!!our room was on the 14th floor, view of most other casinos and mountains! How can you go wrong with that! Wasnt the best hotel but not a slum hotel by far! would definitely stay there again. right in the middle of all the action, great location!! McDonalds & StarBucks right around the corner too lol
Travelers tip on nightlifeThis hotel is right in the middle of everything!! Pay $7.00, get a 24hr pass on the double duce, get the freemont street experience! its a must do!!Rating:1
NOT IMPRESSEDOUR ROOM WAS AT THE FURTHEST DISTANCE FROM THE STRIP. IT TOOK FOREVER TO GET FROM THE CASINO OR THE STRIP FROM THE ROOM. AS FAR AS FINDING YOUR WAY AROUND IN THE HOTEL, WE FELT WE WERE IN A MAIZE. THE VIEW OF THE FIRST ROOM WAS OF THE PARKING GARAGE. THE SECOND ROOM HAD A VIEW OF THE PARKING GARAGE ROOFS AND THE MOUNTAINS IN THE DISTANCE. COMPARED TO OTHER CASINOS THAT WE VISITED, WE MADE A POOR CHOICE. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!Rating:2
It was cheap, and felt like it.I needed a cheap place to stay in Vegas for business. This was it. Cheap also describes the hotel. Everything had an add-on charge (like internet access and long distance (in US) calling) and the fees were high. No lobby/lounge to sit in on the 1st floor. Food was very expensive and of mediocre quality. Check-in wait (at 12:30AM)was very long. The view was interior (to be expected at the price). But the limited ability of the sink and tube to drain water (dont run water while brushing teeth)wasnt expected. The staff was fine, and the room was neat.
Travelers tip for business travelersAcross the street are the forum shops at Caesers. You can find a quite place to sit at a bench, pick up a wireless network signal, and do some work.Rating:4
Stay was nice and relaxingNew slot machines in the casino. Ceiling in the casino is low, but you can not smell the smoke so its o.k.
Travelers tip on local attractionsIts well located in the middle of the strip. Monoraile station is located at the end of the hotel. Easy access.Rating:2
If youre not too picky...Imperial Palace has one thing going for it: location. My room was clean, but could not be described as nice. Adequate is a good word. The slots were tight and the casino is noisy. The elevators are slow. However, the staff was nice, and breakfast in the tea room is good (but its understaffed). You get what you pay for.Rating:3
Not bad for the priceRoom was average size, not too beat up, maids were efficient, only gripe would be with the bathroom. It was very small, the fan was in-operative and the toilet seat lid was missing. Other than that, the shower was strong, the tv and ac worked, and who stays long in the room anyway?
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayWe stayed here because it was for my daughters 21st and I wanted her in the middle of it all. Wife and I go a little more off strip and get much more for the money.Rating:5
Great HotelWe were really pleased with the service of the hotel. I was a long walk from the elevator, and the closer elevator wasnt working.
Travelers tip on nightlifeWe were glad it was on the strip. It was convenently located.Rating:2
Uncomfortable. The line for check in was long and slow. The room was old and beat up, Faucet leaked, bed was hard, pillows were old and flat, linen was dirty and full of lint. Not recommended at any price.Rating:3
FOR THE PRICE THE LOCATION IS THE BESTHOTEL IS AVERAGE. THEY TRY TO KEEP IT UP. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. FOR THE PRICE OF THE ROOM THE STAY IS GREAT! WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR BUT TO BE RIGHT IN THE HEART OF THE STRIP.Rating:1
Things you should know about the Imperial Palace Las VegasThe Imperial Palace is not a place I would ever stay at again. The layout is very confusing with some elevators only going to certain floors. We stayed on the third floor with an average elevator wait time of over five minutes every time we were coming or going from our floor. The stairwell doors are locked so that is not an option. The room was in serious need of maintenence. The sink in the bathroom would overflow before you could finish brushing your teeth and the shower had so much water pressure and a sharp stream that it hurt to use it. The t.v was small with terrible reception and the bed pillows were very, very lumpy. The hotel boasts about the wonderful dining they offer. The burger place on the fifth floor had a long wait, so-so food and was extremely over priced. The pool area was okay, water was warm and inviting. The only thing I enjoyed about our stay at the Imperial Palace was CHECKING OUT!!!
Travelers tip on recreational activitiesThe Hoover Dam tour was fantastic!!!!!Rating:2
Not impressed.Walked in, bed sheets not made and condom wrappers in the trash can of the bathroom. Manager said room service never visited. Gave me a new room in the same "building" which is the Capri bldg not in the casino but tucked way in the back. Dont expect to stay in the hotel casino when booking through here.
