Excellent hotel for priceFor the price the hotel was an excellent choice and in excellent condition- for the weekend it was perfect!Rating:3
A bed to sleep in.Comfortable after a long day of travel. Continental breakfast had plenty of options. Thin walls, unfortunately.Rating:4
Nice stay in Des moinesThe Days Inn has taken over a hotel that was previously a very up-scale place. The service was great, I was able to check in very early and check out very late. The breakfast was ok, nothing special. I got a non-smoking room that did smell like old smoke, not heavy. The pool was great and the hot tub was way too hot, could barely get in. Overall a quiet place that was very nice looking.Rating:5
Great Locationvery pleasant stay, will go back again

Seems to be slippingHave stayed here several times in the last 18mos., but this time overall appearance seemed less inviting, spa in the pool area was not working properly, and the free breakfast seemed to have dropped in quality. This Motel has changed ownership recently.Rating:5
One Night Stay from out-of-townersWe stayed here for one night while visiting the Iowa State Fair, and found the hotel to be totally sufficient. The room was simple and great, the pool was nice, the breakfast was better then expected, and the staff were extremely helpful and had great attitudes. Just a great overall experience.
Travelers tip on recreational activitiesA short drive to the Iowa State Fair and downtown Des Moines with the most reasonable rates around.
