Best hotel ever!My family and I are very critical of where we spend our long-awaited vacation and definitely want our stay to be worth the money. This hotel is absolutely beautiful, the staff was very professional, friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. We honestly could not have asked for anything better - couldnt complain about a thing! The convenience to the train station and shopping was amazing and the rooms were the cleanest Ive ever stayed in. Definitely will go back to this hotel again if were ever in Boston. The hotel is situated directly behind a shopping center that includes Target, Olive Garden, Best Buy and a grocery store chain (along with other stores). Everything is within walking distance and getting to and from the train station is only a 5 minute walk and even coming home after midnight from the fireworks, not afraid of the walk at all.Rating:4
Good LocationStaff was very helpful. Hotel breakfast buffet was understaffed and just average. Lines were somewhat crowded.Rating:5
Very reasonably priced with Expedia discountGreat room, great service. Close to subway station (2 blocks). Close to small shopping mall with Olive Garden restaurant. Convenient shuttle service to Convention Center. I would stay there again.
Travelers tipGet the week-long subway pass for $15.Rating:4
Good Price, Nice Place, Unexciting LocationsThe hotel is great. Very clean, friendly staff, 24hr fitness center, nice bar in the lounge. The location is not exciting, and there is nothing to speak of to do around this area at night. But, its only a 5 minute walk to the T, where you can get anywhere in Boston in minutes.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayBuy a weekly T pass. Its only $15, and it will get you away from this sleepy south Boston area as much as possible!Rating:5
Will stay here againCompared to other Boston area hotels this one is a deal. Location isnt the best but hotel is fairly new and located next to a new shopping plaza. Free parking is a plus. Convenient to subway which can take you anywhere you need to go.Rating:4
Affordable hotel in Boston areaThe hotel is located just outside of Boston and offers one of the best rates. Its very clean and has plenty of free on-site parking. There is not much in the immediate area, so use it as a place to sleep.Rating:5
Brilliant! If you plan on staying in Boston without a car, this hotel would be perfect for you as it is only two blocks away from the Metro Station. Also, the hotel is very nice inside, the world renowned Marriot Courtyard lives up to its reputation as a customer/service oriented hotel.Rating:5
Clean, Convenient, and AffordableI can recommend this hotel without reservation (haha). New hotel, very clean, comfy beds, free parking. Public area was comfortable, too. Theres a shopping center nearby that came in handy. VERY conveniently located to everything we needed to see in Boston, and the airport, too. The only negative was the overpriced and ordinary breakfast buffet. But there is a great breakfast restaurant within walking distance, so give Bickfords a try. If I return to Boston in walking weather, I might try a downtown hotel, but if Im driving around, this will be my home base.Rating:4
Children had funThis is a good hotel for children if they love swimming, eating and shopping like mine. The mall is right behind the hotel and the hotel has an indoor pool.Rating:4
snoozing in South BayThis was my 3rd trip to Boston, first time staying in the South Bay area. The main reason we chose the hotel was for the free parking. Trying to stay in downtown Boston and having to pay for parking is horendous. The price was a added plus. We (me and two girlfriends, a true girls weekend away) all agree that our stay was pleasant. The lobby decor was welcoming and soothing; the concierge were helpful in so many ways from helping one of my friends find their way back home(thank you David) to securing my the (silver hoop) I had lost earlier in the day. They were a gift so being able to retrieve them was a great surprise. As always, only two things: 1)housekeeping: the knocked at 9am, 2)better coffee. I know beggars cant be choosy but we can make a suggestion. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you!!
Travelers tip on dining-Zoes cafe in Cambridge area (near Havard University). Great for breakfast!! Try the sweet potato pancakes. -Peets coffee!! (same area) Starbucks?? Starbucks who?? Need i say more?Rating:4
Good for a short stayThe room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful. But front desk did not pick up the phone many times and especially when the fire alarm of the whole floor went off at 3am in the morning. Luckily, it was a false alarm. But there was no announcement. Apart from that, I enjoyed my stay there. They do not give complimentary breakfast but they have breakfast buffet.Rating:3
Nice stay fer a bitThus hotel is nice if you just need a place to rest your head However, the staff is not very helpful when it come to information about services offered in the hotel. So dont ask too many questions, you wont get much help.Rating:4
Very satisfiedI was there attending the AARP convention, the only complaint was that there was not a shuttle bus to and from the convention. I spent $110.00 on taxi cab fares. They offered me to use the shuttle that went to the airport but they dropped off and picked up airport passengers first. It was not reliable.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksThe market salads and fruit cups were excellent! Good value for the price.Rating:5
great hotelnewer hotel with very nice and clean rooms.
Travelers tipWould stay at this hotel again.Rating:3
Last visit to this HotelHotel is not located in the most desired area. Upon arrival, we learned there was no hot water in hotel. Furthermore, when we got to our room, realized it was already occupied and two people were sound sleeping.Rating:5
Enjoyed our stayThe hotel and service was very good.
Travelers tipThe T is pretty close, a few blocks away, a little scary walking at night, but we did it pretty late on two nights with no problems.Rating:5
Reasonable and great qualityI recommend this hotel for business.
